As Kottke said, these sorts of lists are usually pretty lame, but this list had a different perspective and and expectation of the reader (that is, it assumes you are not a complete idiot.)

One of my favorite parts:

Everyone is ignorant of something but some people sit at home watching Fox News and have their opinions confirmed and some people go out into the world and look stupid and look naive and learn and grow and become better people. (And Gosh darn it I’m gonna be one of them!)
