We went to the National Building Museum for the first time yesterday. It’s a beautiful building with a somewhat odd history; a former Pension building, it fell into disrepair, was restored, and now hosts inaugural balls. There were only a handful of exhibits including “Unbuilt Washington”, a collection of plans for the Washington that could have been, and  “Investigating Where We Live”, which supports my love for H Street.
