I think I have a full-on sickness for campaign furniture now. When I pulled up my google reader and saw that Centsational Girl had a post titled “The Kelly Campaign”, my chest tightened. When I saw that it was “found at (of course) a thrift store for $40,” I clenched my fists. And then her cheeky aside, “the hardware alone is worth that to me,” made me seethe with jealousy. (Well, of course the hardware alone is worth that to you, because the cost for just the pulls would be about $100, not to mention the trim pieces.) And then I saw that it has faux bamboo legs. And then I died. I am dead now.
If you can even stand it, read about her restoration here.
